Two of us had two of their burgers with chips and it was lovely. Slightly pink burger which was perfect for us, and a lovely soft toasted brioche bun. Quick service too, despite it being quite busy at this lunch time (2.30ish). Will be returning for the dinner menu.
Amazing food, never fails. Second night on a row I have dinner with friend on this pub and the food is absolutely amazing!!!! Better than 90% of the restaurants Ive ever been! 100% recommended, the staff if very friendly and helpful. Love this place!

The Old George is a beautiful and cosy pub with good honest food and a great atmosphere. Came unannounced for lunch during the festive period and got served by Stephen. Stephen was very attentive and polite throughout the meal and made sure everything was perfect for us. I will be back!
The food here is exceptionally good. Try the scotch eggs... they are divine. Good service, friendly service. I will definitely come again.
